ABOUT PARKER
Parker Crane was born in May 19th, 1920 & he died in September 20th, 1986 with 66 years old.All the time he spent between then and now, he was trapped in the Furtherโโ a world far beyond the living one, yet it's all around it, a cold and dark place without time.In his life, he was dominated by his mother, who made him a serial killer. She used to dress him as a girl when he was a kid and called him by Marilyn, avoiding to call him by his name, which was the name his father gave him, before leaving them. Being raised as a girl and heavily tormented by his insane mother, Parker's emotional and mental stability decayed over the years and his dark side would eventually manifest, as he started to kill women for his mother.
His mother would isolate him from the rest of the world. His mental health deteriorated through his life, to a point where he killed her to be free.After that, he lived in a flat, alone and people still wouldn't approach him, even if he tried. He also tried to be normal, but it wouldn't take long before he'd hear his mother's voice from beyond, which took doctors to diagnose him with schizophrenia. His mental health was indeed degraded, but he wasn't sick. In reality, he had mediunic gifts, something no one would understand. Not even him.His mother's influence was so hard on him, that he couldn't take it. After being committed to an asylum with no sign of being released, he lost what was left of his sanity and took his own life . . . which led him to end up in the Further.While there, he found a boy named Josh Lambert, who could easily move through the living dimension and the further. So, he befriended the boy's soul, trying to drawn him away from his body to possess it, but it didn't worked. Not until Josh became an adult and ventured in the further once again by himself . . . that's when Parker took the opportunity to possess his body, leaving Josh in the further instead, as he fulfilled his dream: living a normal life.At first, he pretended ( very well ) to be Josh and as he did so, he incidentally started caring for his family. Parker actually feels something for them and his mother tried to make him hurt them, but he wouldn't. Even when they've discovered about him and he felt ( * and was ) rejected, he couldn't bring himself to not like them as his own family.In time, he learned to ignore his mother and she disappeared for an unknown reason.In the end, Parker just wants to live. To live the life his mother took away from him. He doesn't want to hurt anyone else.
REDEMPTION
In his desire to live, Parker refused to leave the body he possessed, merging with it. The body became his and the original owner stayed trapped in the Further until his soul went to a better place.Crane is now alive, but as time passed and the original owner disappeared, he understood what he had done.
He had taken the man's life, just when he sworn he wouldn't do that anymore.As this fact just added to his own pain, he decided that he had to do something to make his life worth itโโ contrary to what he did in his first life, he would help people. He would help them against the evils from the Further, the evil that he once was.Parker can see and hear beyond the world of the living and he has a knowledge about the spirits from the Furtherโโ not all of them, but enough . . . The Demon that reings there included. So, that would be a good start.He still doesn't know how exactly he'd help those people, but he'd do his best. He has to make it right for all the wrongs he had done.
